In Acts 2:42-43 The Bible says, And they (the new converts to Christianity) continued steadfastly in the apostles' teaching, fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers . Also in Hebrews 6:1 (Phillips NT) we read: Let us leave behind the elementary teaching about Christ and go forward to adult understanding. Let us not lay over and over again the foundational truths of repentance.., believing in God, water baptism, the laying-on of hands, belief in the life to come and the final judgment. So we see from both of these passages of Scriptures that there are fundamental or foundational teachings that every believer should be taught in their local church. At Calvary Fellowship.
